Welcome to the Education Program of Hyderabad Zakat and Charitable Trust (HZCT). With a strong commitment to transforming lives through education, HZCT has been making a significant impact in the field of school education. Our focus is on providing quality education to underprivileged students, empowering them to build a brighter future for themselves and their communities.
School Education:
Since our establishment in 1993, HZCT has played a pivotal role in establishing 139 Urdu Medium schools in remote villages of Medak and Rangareddy Districts. These schools have been jointly managed by the Trust in collaboration with the Government of Andhra Pradesh. As part of the Sara Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) initiative, we have extended various government-aided facilities to these schools, including mid-day meals, free books, uniforms, and more.
We firmly believe in the holistic development of students. To ensure their well-being and dignity, HZCT provides subject teachers, drinking water facilities, and dual desk benches to these schools. Our aim is to create a conducive learning environment where students can thrive and excel.
Presently, HZCT supports 91 Urdu Medium schools in 7 districts of Telangana and 4 districts of Rayalseema in Andhra Pradesh. These schools cater to approximately 22,500 students, with 70% of them being girl students. Additionally, we manage 3 English Medium schools in Hyderabad, Vikarabad, and Tandur, benefiting around 1,500 economically disadvantaged students.
