The TruVue Heel Protector better meets the individual needs of patient’s with a custom build around the foot and ankle, ensuring the heel is properly offloaded and patient comfort is maintained. You can have confidence patient’s are protected throughout the continuum of care, as the low profile design helps to prevent heel pressure injuries and hypertension of the knee. • Prevents and treats pressure ulcers by elevating the heel off the bed or other hard surfaces. Securely holds leg and foot in place and has a Foot Gate at bottom of the protector that adjusts to accommodate multiple foot sizes.
• Elongated Foot Gate height tents the sheets off sensitive toes. Can also be used in wheelchair and daybed.
• Optional Anti-Rotation Wedge prevents Rotation of leg while in bed. Not intended to be used while walking.
• Easily cleaned with warm damp rag and soapy water
